It's Time

Well hey there! I know, I know. You're all wondering, "Who is this guy?" And I answer, "It's me! The author of this blog!" And now you're all thinking, "Wait, there's an author to this blog?" YES!!! It's ME!! And now I am wondering, "Who the heck am I talking to?" At this point as I write this I am pretty sure that nobody really follows this blog, so technically I am talking to myself. Nice. So I'm crazy. Oh well! Being crazy is a lot more fun than being normal! There're lots of really funny inside jokes that only I know about. Trust me. If only you knew - it is hilarious!

So anyway, enough rambling. I thought I would give ya'll an update on my life. I think there is always a subconscious thought that we self-bloggers (that means a blogger who blogs about his or herself) have. Does anybody really care? Well, I don't care if you care or not! I will tell you every little detail no matter how mundane and dull! Sorry, am I yelling a lot? If you ask anybody who knows me, I really am a mellow, soft-spoken kind of guy. I don't like to yell. Am I rambling again?

So...my life. Since last November a few things have happened, but I don't really need to mention them. That would be a long blog. So basically my life right now consists of school at BYU, work at Zion’s Bank, and my social life.

Life at BYU: I finally decided on a major. Can I have a drum roll please? Accounting! Surprised anyone? Probably. It wasn't ever really on my list of possibilities since I never really thought of being an accountant as a particularly exciting job. Don't get me wrong! I still don't think of it as a particularly exciting job. That’s why I don’t want to be an accountant. Maybe I’ll explain more later.

Life at Zion’s Bank: I am a teller. I have been since January and I really enjoy it. I am what is called a “Peaktime” teller, which basically means I am slightly lower in rank than the regular teller you find at a bank. You might also call me a “Travelling Teller”, or “Substitute Teller”, or “Special” Guest Teller. Hmm, no, that doesn’t sound right. More like “Special Guest Teller”. Yeah, that’s better. I don’t want ya’ll to think I’m “special”, if you know what I mean. Well, I mean, of course I am special – just not “special”. Can you see the difference? Good. Anyway, the point is I go around to different branches and I “Tell”. When branch employees are sick or on vacation and the branch needs extra help, they call me to save the day! The fact that I save the day for them doesn’t really change the way they treat us, though. It’s unfortunate but we’re pretty repressed. Anyway, it was cool on Halloween, they let us dress up and this year I was Clark Kent, just trying to emphasize that fact that I really did save the day. All I really did for the costume was put on some glasses, a suit coat, and comb my hair. But it worked pretty well, most people guessed who I was.

And finally, last and least, My Social Life: Nonexistent.

Alright! Any questions? Great, then that is all for this blog! Thanks for tuning in! See ya’ll next time!
